Kula High & Intermediate Admissions

Thank you for your interest in Kula Intermediate and High. Kula is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and the Hawaii Association of Independent Schools (WASC/HAIS). The school is non-sectarian and non-discriminatory and provides a safe and nurturing learning environment.
At Kula we recognize, respect and honor cultural and personal diversity. Kula offers a challenging and integrated curriculum designed to awaken the intellectual, creative, spiritual and physical potential within each student. Our smaller class sizes ensure individualized attention from our experienced and dedicated teachers. Kula students graduate with the essential skills of effective communication and critical thinking. To date, more than 95% of our graduates have gone on to college.
We are currently accepting enrollment applications for Grades 7-12 for 2008-2009. The priority deadline for new students is April 30, 2008h. To initiate the application process, please submit the following:
1. A completed application form
2. A $75 application fee (non-refundable)
3. A recent photo of the student
4. A physical examination within one year prior to entry of school in Hawaii./T.B. clearance test
5. Immunization record or religious exemption waiver
6. Transfer of Records Form/Copies of most recent report cards/standardized tests (two years)
7. Parent Questionnaire
8. Student Questionnaire
9. Teacher Reference Forms
10. Student Essay
Upon receipt of the above, we will contact you to arrange an interview with your child. Please note that the interview process cannot begin if any item listed above is missing. After the interview process and your child’s acceptance, an $850 enrollment fee is required to guarantee your child’s registration for 2008-2009.
